Who we are
Youth Summit Expo 2026 is organised by Junior Chamber International Malaysia ("JCI Malaysia", "we"). JCI Malaysia is the data user responsible for the personal data collected through this website, under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).
What we collect
- Visitors and competitors: name, email, mobile number, age group, gender (optional), state, occupation, organisation or school, the days you plan to attend, interests, competitions and team or stage name, JCI membership and Local Organisation, and how you heard about the event.
- Exhibitors and sponsors: company name, SSM number, industry, website, contact person's name, designation, email and mobile number, JCI membership details, the package you selected and your booth preferences and notes, and the bank-in slips you upload as proof of payment (these may show the paying account's name and number).
- Technical data: the date and time of your registration and your IP address, kept to prevent abuse of the forms.
Why we use it
- To register you, issue your e-pass and admit you at the venue.
- To run the competitions you entered, including sending you the rules.
- To confirm exhibitor bookings, verify payments, allocate booths, issue receipts and send the exhibitor manual.
- To contact you about changes to the event.
- To produce anonymous attendance statistics for JCI Malaysia and event partners.
- Only if you ticked the box: to send you information about JCI Malaysia membership and future programmes.
Who we share it with
Your data is used by the JCI Malaysia organising committee. We do not sell it. We may share the minimum necessary with the venue and service providers who help run the event (for example, hosting and registration-counter staff), and with authorities where the law requires it. Our website and database are hosted with Fly.io in Singapore.
How long we keep it
We keep registration data for up to 12 months after the event, for follow-up, reporting and audit, and then delete it. If you opted in to JCI updates, we keep your contact details for that purpose until you ask us to stop.
Your choices and rights
Fields marked as required are needed to register; without them we cannot issue an e-pass or process a booking. You may ask to access or correct your data, withdraw your consent to marketing, or have your registration deleted, by contacting us below. We will respond within 21 days.
Security
The website uses HTTPS. Registration data is stored in a database that is not reachable from the internet, and only the organising team can view it through a password-protected dashboard.
